BUCHAREST, March 25 (Reuters) – Here are news stories, press

BUDGET DATA

Romania’s finance ministry is expected to release budget
deficit data for the first two months of the year.

ROMANIA SELLS 412 MLN LEI IN 10-YR BONDS

Romania sold 412 million lei ($141 million) in 10-year
treasury bonds on Thursday with the average accepted yield at
7.4 percent, up from 7.35 percent at a previous tender on Feb.

IMF

The International Monetary Fund’s executive board will
review Romania’s 20 billion euro aid package on Friday. The
board is also expected to approve Romania’s new two-year
precautionary deal with the IMF.

PETROM

Romania’s top energy company Petrom (SNPP.BX: Quote, Profile, Research), majority
owned by Austria’s OMV (OMVV.VI: Quote, Profile, Research), plans to pay dividends of
about 1 billion lei ($342.6 million) from last year’s profit,
according to a proposal made by the company’s management.
