Jan 26 (BestGrowthStock) – The Conference Board’s U.S. consumer
confidence index rose in January to 55.9 from an upwardly
revised 53.6 in December, the private business research group
reported on Tuesday.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a reading of 53.5
in the January index.
