Russian Feb refinery runs up 0.2 pct vs Jan

 MOSCOW, March 31 (Reuters) - Russian oil refining runs rose
by 0.2 percent on a daily basis in February versus January and
were up by 2.4 percent compared with the same month last year,
Energy Ministry data showed.
  Russian refineries processed 5.10 million barrels per day
(bpd) in February, up from 5.09 million bpd in January. In
February 2010, Russian oil plants processing averaged 4.98
million bpd.
 Gasoline production in February fell by 1.1 percent
month-on-month and by 1.9 percent year-on-year.
 Gasoil output at Russian refining plants rose 1.3 percent
versus January and was up by 3.2 percent versus February 2010,
the data showed.Refineries produced 202,080 tonnes of gasoil
per day.
 Fuel oil production in February fell by 0.2 percent on the
previous month but was up by 2.7 percent to the same month last
year.
 Total fuel oil production in February reached 5.67 million
tonnes, or 202,350 tonnes per day.
 Jet kerosene production totalled 549,400 tonnes in February,
down 8.4 percent on a daily basis from January. It also fell by
1.7 percent from February 2010.
 Higher runs at Bashneft's and Gazpromneft's oil plants in
February were offset by heavy maintenances at some of the plants
owned by Rosneft and Lukoil, the data showed.
 Rosneft (ROSN.MM: Quote, Profile, Research), Russia's largest crude producer, reduced
processing in February by 3.1 percent or 32,390 bpd versus
January as its Syzran and Novokuibyshevsk plants have cut runs
by 14,840 and 23,360 bpd.
 Crude runs at LUKOIL (LKOH.MM: Quote, Profile, Research) plants fell by 6.5 percent in
February, with Volgograd refinery runs down by 57 percent on a
daily basis from January to 168,070 bpd.
 The Novoufimsk, Ufaneftekhim and Ufimsk plants increased
runs by 8.4, 9.5 and 3.3 percent month-on-month, respectively.
As a result, total crude runs at Bashneft (BANE.RTS: Quote, Profile, Research) refineries
rose by 28,620 bpd to 423,540 bpd.
 Crude runs at Moscow and Omsk oil plants, operated by
Gazpromneft (SIBN.MM: Quote, Profile, Research), rose in February by 18,910 and 20,580
bpd.
