S.Korea Mar exports to U.S. rise most in nearly 6 yrs

SEOUL, April 15 (BestGrowthStock) – South Korean exports to the
United States in March reported the biggest annual growth in
almost six years, revised trade data showed on Thursday,
indicating global trade is recovering.

Sales to the United States, South Korea’s No.2 overseas
market behind China, rose 38.7 percent in value in March over a
year earlier, the fastest gain since July 2004, the Korea Customs
Service said.

Exports to China in March rose 51.0 percent from a year ago,
compared with a 43.1 percent increase in February, it said in a
statement.

Following is South Korea’s revised March export and import
data on a customs clearance basis (not seasonally adjusted, still
subject to minor revisions):
