S.Korea May average daily exports up vs April

SEOUL, June 1 (BestGrowthStock) – South Korea’s average exports value
per working day rose to $1.84 billion in May from a revised $1.64
billion in April, government data showed on Tuesday.

The country’s exports to the EU for the first 20 days of May
rose 38.1 percent over the same period a year ago after gaining
15.2 percent in the April 1-20 period, said an official at the
Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

Exports to the United States jumped 62.3 percent for the May
1-20 period over a year earlier after a 28.5 percent annual gain
in the first 20 days of April, the official said.
