SABMiller eyes Brazil’s Schincariol – report

LONDON (Reuters) – SABMiller (SAB.L: Quote, Profile, Research) is considering a bid for Schincariol, Brazil’s second-largest brewer, which has been put up for sale for about $2 billion, the Sunday Times said without citing sources.

Dutch brewer Heineken (HEIN.AS: Quote, Profile, Research) could also be interested in the privately owned company, the newspaper said.

SABMiller, the world’s number two brewer, declined to comment on the report.
