Shell says sees Anacortes reformer back June 30

HOUSTON, June 22 (BestGrowthStock) – Shell Oil Co (RDSa.L: ) said on Tuesday a
shut catalytic reforming unit at its 145,000 barrel per day (bpd)
Anacortes, Washington refinery should be back to normal production rates by
June 30, after repairs are completed.

“CRU repairs should be completed June 28 and the unit should be back to
normal rates by June 30,” said Shell spokeswoman Jody Barnett in a
statement.

The unit shut down on Saturday for repairs when a small fire broke out.
There were no injuries resulting from the fire.

A catalytic reformer converts low-octane refining byproducts into
high-octane blending components for gasoline.
