Six killed in blast at Nigerian election office

ABUJA (Reuters) – Six people were killed in a bomb blast at a local election office in central Nigeria late on Friday hours before parliamentary elections were due to begin, the secret service said.

“Six people have been confirmed dead. We don’t have much detail,” Marilyn Ogar, spokeswoman for the State Security Service (SSS), told Reuters.
