Swiss stocks – Factors to watch on August 20

ZURICH, Aug 20 (BestGrowthStock) – Swiss stocks are set to tick up
at the open on Friday after heavy losses the previous day, even
as European markets are seen falling for a third consecutive
session after disappointing U.S. data prompted falls on Wall
Street and in Asia overnight.

The Swiss blue-chip index SMI (.SSMI: ) was indicated to edge
up 9 points to 6,290 points, premarket data provided by bank

U.S. drugmaker Alexion Pharmaceuticals said Novartis
challenged the European patent covering its key genetic disorder
