Swiss stocks – Factors to watch on May 12

ZURICH, May 12 – Swiss stocks are seen opening lower on
Wednesday, in line with other European bourses and tracking
overnight weakness on Wall Street as investors continue to fret
over euro-zone debt concerns.

The Swiss blue-chip index SMI(.SSMI: ) was indicated to open
30 points higher at 6,478 points at the open, premarket data
provided by bank Clariden Leu showed.(CLPRE: )

The bank’s U.S. brokers will boost revenue by targeting
investment banking clients, selling more mortgages and loans,
and expanding sales of alternative investments, UBS Wealth
Management Americas chief Robert McCann told analysts on
Tuesday.

Swiss-based Transocean Ltd denied allegations late Tuesday
that its crew members were asked to sign waivers relating to
damage claims soon after its deep water rig exploded off the

Orascom Development Holding shareholders agreed on Tuesday
