TABLE-Japan non-mini auto sales +28.0 pct in May

TOKYO, June 1 (BestGrowthStock) – Automobile sales in Japan,
excluding 660cc minivehicles, rose 28.0 percent in May from a
year earlier to 228,514 vehicles, the Japan Automobile Dealers
Association said on Tuesday.

Sales at top-ranked Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T: ), excluding the
Lexus brand, rose 39.3 percent, while Nissan Motor Co (7201.T: )
rose 9.1 percent and Honda Motor Co (7267.T: ) gained 15.7 percent.

For the January-May period, sales totalled 1,427,154
vehicles, up 34.6 percent from a year earlier.
