TABLE-US chain store sales rose 0.8 pct last week-ICSC

June 8 (BestGrowthStock) – The International Council of Shopping Centers and
Goldman Sachs on Tuesday released the
following seasonally adjusted weekly data on U.S. chain store
retail sales.

ICSC Research expects same-store sales for June will increase by 3.0 percent
to 4.0 percent as easy comparisons will be boosted by the calendar-shift
pushing Memorial Day into the June fiscal month.

The ICSC weekly U.S. retail chain store sales index is a joint publication
between ICSC and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Itmeasures nominal same-store sales,
excluding restaurant and vehicle demand, and represents about 75 retail chain
