TEPCO: hospitalised boss to return to work soon

TOKYO, March 30 (Reuters) – Tokyo Electric Power
said that it expects its ill president, Masataka Shimizu, to
return to work soon, after he was admitted to hospital on
Wednesday.

Chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata, who is in charge while Shimizu
receives treatment, made the comment at press briefing in Tokyo.

Shimizu was last seen in public on March 13, two days after
a tsunami struck the utility’s plant in Fukushima, sparking
Japan’s worst nuclear accident.
