Thai protesters storm town hall in Northeast

BANGKOK (BestGrowthStock) – Anti-government protesters in Thailand stormed a town hall complex in the northeastern city of Udon Thani on Wednesday and set a building ablaze, a city police official there said.

The incident in a stronghold of protesters mostly loyal to ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra came after the military stormed into the sprawling “red shirt” encampment in central Bangkok in an operation that killed at least four people and wounded scores.
