Thai troops told to "reclaim" protest centre in Bangkok

BANGKOK, April 10 (BestGrowthStock) – The Thai army has been told
to “reclaim” a protest site at Phan Fah bridge in old Bangkok,
an army spokeman said on Saturday, referring to an area where
troops had earlier shot into the air to clear demonstrators.

There was no word on what the security forces should do in
the second main protest centre in a downtown shopping and hotel
district, he said.

Hundreds of troops massed at the downtown site, apparently
ready to move in.
