UDPATE 1-All sides seeking quick deal on A400M -Germany

(Adds date of meeting)

BERLIN, Jan 29 (BestGrowthStock) – All parties involved in talks on
the future of the Airbus A400M military transporter are trying
to reach a deal as soon as possible, a spokesman for Germany’s
defence ministry said on Friday.

Discussions between officials from the seven countries whose
governments have ordered the plane and Airbus parents EADS
(EAD.PA: ) were due to continue in Berlin next week, most likely
on Feb. 4, another defence ministry spokesman said.

On Thursday, the ministry had said the meeting would take
place on Feb. 2, but the spokesman said there had been a change
in the plans.

Technical problems and delays have caused budget overruns on
Europe’s biggest defence project.
