Sept 13 (BestGrowthStock) – BATM Advanced Communications (BVC.L: )
posted a 2.6 percent drop in July-August revenue as sales to
original equipment manufacturers fell, but the Israeli telecoms
equipment firm said it expected strong demand from key U.S.
customers to continue.

The company, which also makes medical products like
laboratory diagnostic equipment, had total revenue of $18.6
million in the first two months of the second half, compared
with $19.1 million a year ago.

BATM, which got large orders from the United States after
the launch of Apple’s (AAPL.O: ) iPhone 4, said it was ramping up
production to accelerate deliveries in the fourth quarter.

The company said its medical division was making progress
and its balance sheet remained strong, with a cash balance of
$53.4 million at the end of August.

Shares in BATM, which have lost more than half of their
value since the beginning of the year, were down about 1
percent at 25 pence at 0702 GMT on Monday on the London Stock
Exchange.
