BRASILIA, July 15 (BestGrowthStock) – Brazil added payroll jobs for
a sixth straight month in June and notched a record for jobs
creation in the first half of the year, underscoring the
strength of a rebound in Latin America’s biggest economy.

Brazil’s economy added net 212,952 payroll jobs in June,
the Labor Ministry said on Thursday.

The economy added 1,473,320 payroll jobs in the first six
months of the year, a record for the period.

Last year Labor Minister Carlos Lupi forecast that the
Brazilian economy would add 2 million jobs in 2010.

Most of Brazil’s workforce is not registered with the labor
ministry and belongs to a vast informal economy. President Luiz
Inacio Lula da Silva has made it a top priority to increase the
number of payroll jobs.
