UPDATE 1-Brazil’s TAM seen ordering 25 Airbus planes

BERLIN, June 8 (BestGrowthStock) – TAM (TAMM4.SA: )(TAM.N: ), Brazil’s
largest air carrier, is poised to order Airbus aircraft worth
just under $3 billion at the Berlin air show on Tuesday, a
source famliar with the deal told Reuters.

The order will include 20 A320 single-aisle planes and five
A350 wide-body jets, the source said, asking not to be
identified because had not yet been announced.

Such an order would be worth around $2.8 billion at list
prices.

A second source said earlier the EADS (EAD.PA: ) planemaking
subsidiary would announce orders for A350s and A320s after
bagging an $11 billion deal for A380 superjumbos from Emirates
in a surprise opening to Europe’s second largest air show.

Airbus declined to comment ahead of a second news conference
called for 1400 GMT.
