UPDATE 1-Colombia exports rise 20.5 pct year-on-year in Oct

(Adds details)

BOGOTA, Dec 3 (BestGrowthStock) – Colombia’s exports increased 20.5
percent to $3.55 billion in October compared with the same
month last year, driven by oil and petroleum products, the
government’s DANE statistics agency said on Friday.

In the first 10 months of the year exports from the Andean
country rose 21.4 percent to $32.54 billion versus the same
period last year, the body said in a statement.

Latin America’s No. 4 oil producer is expected to see gross
domestic product grow at around 4.5 percent in 2010 and next
year after a rate of 0.8 percent in 2009 due to the global
financial crisis, according to the central bank.
