The suspension was due to damage to some parts of the
railway caused by heavy rain and extreme wind in the North
Shore sector of Quebec, the Montreal-based miner said. QNS&L
Railway, the carrier, is seeking to reinstate the service.
Consolidated Thompson is maintaining normal production
activity at Bloom Lake, it said.
