UPDATE 1-Duke Energy’s scandal-hit ex-exec quits EnerNOC board

Dec 17 (BestGrowthStock) – Energy monitoring and efficiency
services provider EnerNOC Inc (NOC.N: ) said James Turner, who
recently resigned as Duke Energy (DUK.N: ) unit’s COO, has quit
its board.

Earlier this month Duke said the chief operating officer of
its electric and gas business resigned, after Daily
Indianapolis Star published e-mails between Turner and former
Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) Chairman David
Lott Hardy.

Turner on Dec. 6 admitted that he fell short of
professionalism in certain e-mails to the former commissioner.

Turner’s resignation from EnerNOC is effective Dec. 15.

Shares of the company closed at $64.12 on Friday on the New
York Stock Exchange.
