UPDATE 1-Lundin’s Portugal mine faces 1-week work stoppage

* Says notice from union for employees at Neves-Corvo mine

April 20 (BestGrowthStock) – Lundin Mining Corp (LUN.TO: ) said it
received notice from the union representing employees at its
Neves-Corvo copper mine in Portugal that they plan a total work
stoppage from May 5 to May 12.

Lundin said the adherence to this action is not clear, and
further details will be provided when available.

In February, the Neves-Corvo mine employees commenced
two-hour strikes at the beginning of each shift, and demanded
salary increases in the order of 17 percent on base pay.

Earlier this month, the company had said the employees
ended their limited industrial action.

Shares of the company closed at C$5.20 Monday on the
Toronto Stock Exchange.
