Investment banking group hired Neil Bond in portfolio and
electronic trading. Bond joins from JP Morgan Cazenove where he
was a vice president in sales and algorithmic trading.

CANADIAN IMPERIAL BANK OF COMMERCE (CM.TO: )

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce appointed David Hay as
vice chairman of its investment banking team in Toronto. Hay
was previously president and chief executive officer of New
Brunswick Power Holding Corporation. He will join on Sept. 7.

BANK HAPOALIM INTERNATIONAL (POLI.TA: )

Bank Hapoalim International appointed Paul Mann to head its
private banking business in the UK, effective immediately. Mann
joins Bank Hapoalim International from UBS Wealth Management
where he held the position executive director of the Israel
team in London. Mann replaces Tal Steiner-Omer.

TEMASEK HOLDINGS [TEM.UL]

Temasek Holdings hired Greg Curl as president. Curl, who
worked as Bank of America’s (BAC.N: ) chief risk officer, will
oversee financial services and strategic engagements in the

UBS (UBSN.VX: )

Swiss bank UBS has hired Wei Cai as co-head of China
investment banking from Morgan Stanley (MS.N: ) (Read more about the money market today. ). Cai will be
based in Hong Kong and jointly head China investment banking
with Ju Zhao. Cai was Morgan Stanley’s head of Asia-Pacific
industrials and transportation group, with a focus on China.

RAYMOND JAMES FINANCIAL INC (RJF.N: )

The St Petersburg, Florida-based brokerage said late on
Wednesday it appointed Tim Killgoar as director of client
experience. Killgoar previously served as an assistant to
Raymond James Chairman Tom James and has also worked at Bank of
America (BAC.N: ).
