* Case focused on game controllers

WASHINGTON, April 13 (BestGrowthStock) – Nintendo (7974.OS: ) won a

technology used in video game controllers.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issued a

was required to pay damages.

The game controllers in question were used in some of
Nintendo’s popular Wii, WaveBird and GameCube controllers.

Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O: ) had also been sued by Anascape but
settled.

The case is Anascape Ltd v. Nintendo of America Inc and was
on appeal from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District
of Texas. Case no. 06-158.
