UPDATE 1-Valero resets timing of St. Charles overhaul

HOUSTON, Jan 27 (BestGrowthStock) – Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N: )
reset the timing of a plantwide shutdown at its St. Charles
refinery in Norco, Louisiana, the company said on Wednesday.

The 44-day plantwide shutdown at its 250,000 barrel per day
(bpd) St. Charles was moved to February from January, Valero
said in a statement. Valero will overhaul the refinery’s
190,000 bpd crude unit and its coking unit.

Valero has a 44-day overhaul of a gasoline-producing
fluidic catalytic cracking unit underway at its 310,000 bpd
Port Arthur, Texas, refinery. A hydrocrakcer at the refinery
will be overhauled in March, as previously announced.

The company still plans to overhaul hydrocrackers at its
315,000 bpd Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery in January and
March.

Overhauls of a crude unit, FCC and alkylation unit at
Valero’s 195,000 bpd Memphis refinery continue to be planned
for March.
