US money market funds fall by $4.49 bln-IMoneyNet

NEW YORK, April 6 (Reuters) – U.S. money market fund assets
declined by $4.49 billion to $2.71 trillion in the week ended
April 5, the Money Fund Report said on Wednesday.

Taxable money market fund assets fell by $4.23 billion to
$2.392 trillion, while tax-free assets were down $252.5 million
at $319.05 billion, according to the report, published by
iMoneyNet.

Yields on taxable money market funds were at 0.02 percent,
the lowest since April 13, 2010, according to the report.
