US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Market opens lower amid Goldman worries

NEW YORK, April 19 (BestGrowthStock) – U.S. stocks (Read more about the stock market today. ) opened slightly
lower on Monday, pressured by lingering concerns over fraud
charges against Goldman Sachs (GS.N: ).

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI: ) was down 6.57
points, or 0.06 percent, at 11,012.09. The Standard & Poor’s
500 Index (.SPX: ) was off 0.94 points, or 0.08 percent, at
1,191.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC: ) fell 5.08 points,
or 0.20 percent, at 2,476.18.
