US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Nasdaq turns negative

NEW YORK, April 11 (Reuters) – The Nasdaq (.IXIC: Quote, Profile, Research) turned
negative shortly after the open on Monday.

The PHLX semiconductor index (.SOX: Quote, Profile, Research) was down 0.9 percent.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI: Quote, Profile, Research) was up 46.70
points, or 0.38 percent, at 12,426.75. The Standard & Poor’s
500 Index (.SPX: Quote, Profile, Research) was up 2.87 points, or 0.22 percent, at
1,331.04. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 1.81 points, or
0.07 percent, at 2,778.61.
