US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St dips as investors rethink stimulus

NEW YORK, Oct 27 (BestGrowthStock) – Wall Street opened lower on
Wednesday after durable goods orders excluding defense and
aircraft fall and as investors reassessed how aggressively the
U.S. Federal Reserve may try to stimulate the economy.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI: ) was down 70.50
points, or 0.63 percent, at 11,098.96. The Standard & Poor’s
500 Index (.SPX: ) was down 7.82 points, or 0.66 percent, at
1,177.82. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC: ) was down 10.35
points, or 0.41 percent, at 2,486.94.
