US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St extends losses on China pressure

NEW YORK, Nov 12 (BestGrowthStock) – U.S. stocks (Read more about the stock market today. ) fell on Friday,
with major indexes falling more than 1 percent in midday trade,
hit by commodity prices that were pressured by expectations of
an interest rate hike in China.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI: ) was down 109.29
points, or 0.97 percent, at 11,173.81. The Standard & Poor’s
500 Index (.SPX: ) was down 16.55 points, or 1.36 percent, at
1,196.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC: ) was down 44.13
points, or 1.73 percent, at 2,511.39.
